Recording artist Rick Diaz releases a new single to radio. “I’ll BeThere When You Need Me”. This is the first single from the upcoming CD album “A Song For All Seasons” to be released later this year. The up-tempo gospel flavored, Diaz original is be released on the High Sierra Record label. It is produced by Rick and Jon Hasz for Tahoe City Productions.Tahoe City Days, Fallin For You, and Hey Little Lindsay, are among the featured tracks.A concert tour is in the works, along with special shows with legendary guitarist James Burton. Burton and Diaz collaborated on two of the album cut’s Saguaro Moon, and You Are Loved. The single will be featured in the upcoming motion picture “The Long Adventure Home” which will Rick star in.Production isplanned for later this year.
The singer, songwriter, guitarist, actor, was featuredin last year’s theatrical release “The Play Ground!” A native of San Diego, Rick got his first break performing at Harrah’s Tahoe. His up tempo multi genre, across the board appeal, and easy- going personality, have made him a hit with audiences both young and old. Recording artist Rick Diaz releases his first ever Christmas CD, My Memories of Christmas. The twelve- song compilation features seven Diaz originals, along with five of his all- time Christmas favorites. Two remastered cuts going out to radio are: I’m Gonna Shake The Decorations Right Off Your Christmas Tree and Merry Christmas From Tahoe. Shake The Decorations is a fun up tempo holiday romp inspired after Rick saw The Country Bears Christmas special on a trip to Disneyland. Rick duets with songstress Samantha Moroney of La Jolla, California on Merry Christmas From Tahoe,she is also featured on Starlight in Christmas. A native of San Diego, California, Rick’s career had its beginnings in Lake Tahoe at the age of twenty. The originals which include My Christmas Wish For You, Fallen Leaf, Julian Lady, and The Elvis Elf, though they are his reflections on Christmas, they have something that every listener can relate to. The multi genre singer, songwriter, offers you a complete package of musical styles, ranging from Rock n Roll, Acoustic Ballads, Pop/Country and a Dean Martin flavored arrangement of Winter Wonderland. Rick hits the bulls eye with his tribute to Elvis, and his late friend Glen Campbell on Blue Christmas.“I was Glen’s guest for his Christmas show at Harrah’s Reno. He did an awesome version of Blue Christmas backed by the house orchestra and his band. We had the most memorable visit afterwards. I used strings on my version with Jon Hasz playing a James Burton flavored guitar solo. I use to joke with James that I got presents from the Elvis Elf. He told me “You’ve got a song there” he recalls. The album is rounded out with a classy duet on Feliz Navidad with talented vocalist Danielle Tucker. My Memories of Christmas was produced by Rick and Jon Hasz for Tahoe City Productions.
